E-mail services

Employees and students of VSB-TUO can configure email clients installed on their personal computers or use the web-based interface to access their email.

Warning

The e-mail inboxes of Faculty of Economics (EKF) and Faculty of Safety Engineering (FBI) students are hosted on the Microsoft Exchange Online (Office 365) platform.
If you studied at EKF or FBI in the past and now attend another faculty at VŠB, your e-mail is likely still on Office 365.

1. Linux-based e-mail system supporting IMAP

Webmail Roundcube

To receive email using the web interface, only a web browser is required (e.g., Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera browser). This web interface uses the IMAP protocol. Employees are strongly encouraged to use a configured email client for routine tasks.

To access the webmail interface at https://posta.vsb.cz/roundcube/, please input your personal identification number (e.g., abc123) followed by the unified password (SSO/LDAP/university password).

2. MS Exchange Online (EXO)

Exchange Online mailboxes are automatically assigned to Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Safety Engineering students. Employee mailboxes are migrated to EXO upon submission of a Helpdesk ticket.

To access Exchange Online, please use your personal identification number in the format login@vsb.cz (e.g., abc123@vsb.cz) and your unified password (SSO/LDAP/university password).
