If VPN concentrator after connection does not require login and password, please check your connection to VPN concentrator by using command:

  • From internet: ping vpn.vsb.cz

(Enter ping command similary like here.)
If server do not respond there is very likely problem with your network connection. Ask your provider for help.

VPN concentrators have no capacity limits.

If login and password is requied again and again, you are probably entering bad login or password. You may check if your password is not blocked here

Also check if your access was not blocked due sharing (check your academic email).

Often there are problems with firewall settings or antivirus malfunction. Try deactivate them temporarily and connect again.

If you are connected to internet via SOHO router, problem might be there. Try to update firmware to the lastest version. We also register this problem at some TP-Link routers.

If you have a problem connecting through the AnyConnect client, make sure that you do not have activated a proxy server (Various anonymization services, etc.).

Pokud při instalaci AnyConnect klienta dostanete chybovou zprávu "Web-based installation was unsuccessful", proveďte instalaci manuálně kliknutím na "Install using the link below".

When installing the AnyConnect client, an error occurs " The VPN client agent was unable to create the interprocess communication depot ", it is necessary to disable the service in the Windows Internet Connection Sharing / Internet Connection Sharing (for example http://durga-mcse.blogspot.cz/2013/04/solution-vpn-client-agent-was-unable-to.html)

If you use Chrome / Chromium may appear instead of the page content vpn.vsb.cz following error:  Error 324 (net :: ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): Unknown error . The solution is to run the program with the following argument:   -  -disable-ssl-false-start . Argument can add the shortcut properties (icon Chrome / Chromium) in the Target box: ..  chrome.exe disable-ssl-false-start . More technical information can be found, for example,
here.
