Manual configuration

In the case of manual configuration, pay attention to verification of identity authentication servers against which your device authenticate to (radius1.vsb.cz, radius2.vsb.cz). These servers are signed by a trusted certificate authority TERENA SSL CA 3, publisher DigiCert Assured ID Root CA. Some devices may have a problem with the server certificate authentication and it is necessary (for a price lower security) authentication servers omitted.

In iPhone menu, please, follow the instruction below:

  1. Settings → WiFi → On - wireless networks listing should appear

  2. Choose eduroam - login dialog should appear.

  3. Login
    • Username: login@vsb.cz (eg. abc123@vsb.cz)
    • Password: wifi password pro síť eduroam
    • Optionally, you can use your eduroam credentials previously set at your university.

If the login dialog shows only one edit box for password, the iPhone probably didn't recognize authentication protocol EDUROAM. The options is: use eduroam Configuration Assistant Tool.
