Antivirus - antivirus protection
An antivirus program (commonly known as antivirus) is computer software designed to identify, remove, and eliminate computer viruses and other harmful software (malware). It is essential to regularly update the antivirus program; without virus database updates, the program would not function properly.
CIT has prepared a short video summarizing what antivirus is and the benefits of a centrally managed solution.
For the protection of VŠB-TUO devices, we recommend the comprehensive security solution ESET Endpoint Security for Windows, which is part of the ESET PROTECT Entry On-Prem package (formerly known as ESET Secure Office Plus).
