Android version >= 8.0 is only configurable with geteduroam.

geteduroam

1. If you have an eduroam profile previously configured, first delete it (via "Forget network").
2. From the Google Play store, download and install the "geteduroam" application and run it.
3. Search for the institution VŠB - Technical university of Ostrava.
4. Fill the login name as login@vsb.cz (eg. abc123@vsb.cz) and wifi password.
   Attention! In some versions of the Android OS after this step may be required lock screen using a PIN, symbols etc.!
5. The eduroam profile will be configured.
   
   
   
    

Eduroam CAT

1. From the Google Play Store, download and install "Eduroam CAT" and run it.
2. The next procedure is similar to the geteduroam application.
