IPv4 and IPv6 address in Windows 7 and 8 from Control Panel

  1. In Windows 8:
    Press WinKey+I and in shown strip Settings continue through Control Panel → Network and Internet → Network and sharing Center and reference Change adapter settings.

    In Windows 7:
    a)
    By clicking on Open Network and Sharing Center in Internet access in right bottom corner.
    b) By clicking on the Start button → Control Panel → Network and Internet → Network and Sharing Center.

    Then by clicking Change adapter settings.

  2. Select Local Area Connection, double left mouse button click.

  3. Click on Details, find IPv4 Address for Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) address.

  4. Click on Details, find IPv6 Address for Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) address.
