IP address in Windows 7 and 8 from cmd (Command Prompt)

IPv4 (Internet Protocol version 4)
- In Windows 8 press WinKey+R and enter command cmd.
In Windows 7 open the Start Menu and type cmd in search box. Press Enter or click the mouse on the cmd searched.
- Type ipconfig /all and press Enter.
- Find Ethernet adapter → IPv4 Address.
IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6)
- In Windows 8 press WinKey+R and enter command cmd.
In Windows 7 open the Start Menu and type cmd in search box. Press Enter or click the mouse on the cmd searched.
- Type ipconfig /all and press Enter.
- Find Ethernet adapter → IPv6 Address.
